So, I've been following a few different blogs lately and I enjoy reading them. It got me to wondering if anyone likes reading mine and, if not, what I can do to make it, well, more enjoyable. So, I am asking for feedback and suggestions, and I'll be working on making my future posts something that is more than just a play-by-play of what Aaron and I have been doing in the month or so since my last post.
Oh, yeah, and that's the other thing. I am committed to writing far more frequently. A lot goes on in our lives. (I mean, it's not full of extravagant activities day in and day out. But, we do a lot and Aaron is a blast!) So, I get to share more of him and more often.
_I_ enjoy reading your posts. While I am not a "follower", I have your blog in my Favorites and stop by regularly (several times a week) just to see if there's anything new. To my mind, blogs aren't about the big things in life; they're about the day-to-day activities, thoughts, feelings, and mundane stuff that the people who are writing a blog don't think anyone else is interested in. And yet, it's just those little things that many times _are_ the most interesting to our readers. In my experience, smaller posts, but more frequent posts (with the occasional bigger posting), are what keep people coming back and feel like they are participating with us in our lives. Just my two cents' worth. Love, Dad.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your feedback! I will keep this in mind as I get more actively involved in posting. I love you!
